The Design of Incisions for a Deep Plane Facelift

A critical factor for optimal healing is ensuring no tension on the skin. This is where meticulous technique comes in. By avoiding any pulling on the skin, I ensure that the incision heals beautifully without distortion or complications.
    3.    Two-Day Post-Op:
In this two-day post-op example, you can see how clean and precise the incisions are. The suturing is meticulous, with no pulling on the earlobe or disturbance of the hairline. Early on, the incisions already look great, setting the stage for rapid healing.
    4.    Two-Week Healing:
By two weeks, the incisions continue to heal beautifully. Even with thicker skin, which typically takes longer to heal, the incision lines are well-camouflaged, and the patient can cover them easily.
    5.    Three-Month Results:
At three months, the healed incision is practically invisible. The hairline remains intact, and the earlobes are perfectly positioned. The after-photo shows that there is no visible scar, and the patient’s results look natural and rejuvenated.
