Tatum's NBA resume has nothing to do with the Olympic team.

That olympic team had plenty of guys that have Tatums skillset. They needed elite wing defense and smart playmaking. In the few minutes Tatum did play the ball got stuck and he kept taking bad shots. Thats why Book got so much more run than Tatum.

He got benched after multiple bad performances playing iso with a team full of the best players in the nba if he would of played team basketball or played elite defense or even rebounded at a high level he likely plays in every game

He sucked. He was awful, and played his way out of the rotation. And guess what he isn't as good as the guys in front of him. This isn't about being able to hold up over a season. He's still not as good as LeBron or KD when they're healthy and rested. This was a ridiculous story based on folks who don't get that being all NBA first team doesn't mean you're actually better than another player, especially under FIBA rules. What a joke of a story. Tatum deserved to play as much as Haliburton did, not much because the guy in front of him was demonstrably better. 🤷

How did he "play his part well"? He didn't play, and when he did he shot terribly. He was visibly less than enthusiastic, that's not a team player imo

Hey I think the 1st team all nba player my favorite player should’ve played more, guys like Howard and Brian windhorst OH MY GOD RELAX ITS THE OLYMPIC TEAM CHILL OUT STEVE KERR HAD A REALLY TOUGH TIME FIGURING OUT A ROTATION WE WON THE GOLD! The worst part is when there like dude we really needed Derrick white out there to guard bogdan bogdanovic and we really needed bam playing out of position at the 4 so we could survive the tournament and barely win and not cover a single spread. This has been the most strawmanned argument I’ve ever seen it’s weird.
