WoW, thanks. Was rendering videos using NATIVE which was pushing my CPU to 100% running it at 85° and one video took 15:18 to render. Then I switched to NVIDIA which used my GTX 1080 and the render time was 2:40 running my graphics card at 60°, nice !

just discovered that H265 uses GPU - in the free version, too. quick test with a 4k project on my rather slow PC: h264: 8m27s, h265: 1m26s

11 hours of 4K video editing changed to 3.5 hours with Nvidia Geforce RTX 3090 Graphic. Why do you have 563 subscribers. more people should know you. Wonderful Job

I've got an RTX 3090 on a Core i7-5820K. GPU rendering in 4K (h.265) is over 6 times faster on the GPU. As others have pointed out, though, the setting only appeared after I bought a Resolve license. It's not in the free version.

Thank you so much. Unfortunately I cannot afford a pro version today so I have to render over 1.5h on my 3rd gen i5-3330 instead of my RTX2060 where it would be probably 2 minutes xD

In the free Version I don't have the option to render with my GPU.
That's why I use Capcut. It has all the features that I need (creating Social Media and Youtube Videos).

i dont see the codec drop down, I only see format and codec, im on resolve 17

Im using resolve 17 but the Encoder option simply isn't there under format and codec. how do I change my render settings to my GPU?
