Subtracting in Scientific Notation

Learn how to subtract in Scientific notation. Example problems include,
(34 x 10^4) - (2.1 x 10^3)
( 9.7 x 10^5) - ( 5.1 x 10^3)
(5.2 x 10^4) - (7.2 X 10^3)
(6.3 x 10^5) - (5.1 x 10^3)
The key to subtracting in scientific notation is that the exponents need to be the same.
