I just want to share a method for the decimal moving cuz its kinda confusing.

The rule is if u want to increase the exponent u have to move the decimal to the left as many times as to reach the value of the other exponent. Then vice versa

example:

9.8 *10^5 + 2.3*10^3 (for u to change the 3 into 5 u have to move the decimal to the left twice)

so it'll be 9.8*10^5 + 0.023*10^5 = 9.823*10^5 is the answer

Tip to remember:

Kapag nag cconvert ng SN to regular
(-) (+)
*Moving decimal sa pag àdd ng zero

Kapag regular to SN nàman
(+) (-)
*Moving ng decimal sa pag tanggal ng zero para maconvert.

Kapag nangaliwa ka sa isang relasyon, + 1 ka, analogy para sa exponent.

18.5*10^6 + 3.6*10^6
Ans. 22.1*10^6 or 2.21*10^7
