I have two phones too. But one is a dedicated work phone which I use exclusively for work and has all the necessary apps that help me with my work. The other one is what I call my fun phone. It has netflix, games, everything that you can consider entertainment on it. When I work, I put my fun phone away to avoid distractions. When I am just by myself with nothing to do, I always use the fun phone.

I have an iPhone 13 for work and a basic flip phone for my personal life. I’m very addicted to screens, so having two phones helps me to set boundaries for technology.

I also use 2 phones.
An iPhone and an Android. Mainly because of the flexibility.
Also to be able to use the hotspot with 2 carriers and as a developer I definitely feel like I need to test on both phones to reach all users.

Using 2 phones since 2006, always identical. These times however I’m using a 13 mini and a 12 mini. Your logic is pretty much inline with mine. Good video.

I'm glad for the extra justification and I'm not alone. For the past several years, I've been using 2 cells with 2 different numbers. Everyone has my main cell number that I have for over 15 years and only my personal friends/family have my second "secret" number. At nights and weekends I put my main cell on "do not disturb" and only allow a few people/numbers that can call through just in case. I love relaxing on weekends, and using my private cell that my boss and unwanted people do not have and cannot disrupt my peace. It keeps me a little sane.

All I gotta say is don’t put them both in the same pocket.

I have two phones for one reason. The best of both worlds. I have the flagship iPhone and the flagship Samsung. Both platforms have apps and abilities the other just doesn’t. Right now I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy Fold 3.

It's interesting that you said you're an introvert. I try to explain that to people all the time. They ask me how I can run a business and manage sales but be introverted. I try to tell them there is a big difference between being shy or unconfident and being introverted.

The only problem with multitasking is that you have less fokus on each task

Using a Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 Ultra since today. I was just trying to find good reasons to do it. Thanks!

I love having 2 phones. Enables me to look things up, use GPS without having to be on speaker, keep something handy or qued up, technical service, security authentication, double freebies, zoom while setting up what I'm learning about, Facebook videos like you said (FB needs to fix that!), etc. Only annoyance is snap chat only allowing one device at a time.

I was required to start using a second phone for work & was so annoyed at the thought of it. Fast forward 6 months & I was hooked. So many times that 2nd phone came handy & even saved me a few times. I did make a conscious effort to set clear phone hours & take a break from both phones every day.

I love LOVE having more than one phone. One for games etc and one for personal calls, texts etc it is worth the investment. Also keep one charging and use the other. No one has just one phone any more.

I dropped my phone at the airport and the screen stopped responding. It was stressful cause I was supposed to book a cab after landing and call my family. Fortunately I had my boarding pass printed out and people were kind enough to let me use their phone to make a call but I’ve been carrying 2 phones ever since😂

I’m an independent sales agent and just this week started working with two phones. My long term phone has been Android (Galaxy S10 currently), my new contract company gave me an iPhone 11 Pro . This video had great tips! Thank you!

Having 2 phones for me works and one for work and one for leisure, helps me focus and multitask

I prefer to use one phone with two numbers. For example I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max and my personal number is the e-sim and my work number would be the physical sim. On the week ends or when I’m not working I put the work line on always divert or just switch it off. The problem with having two phones is charging two phones every night, mounting two phones whilst driving, connecting to car Bluetooth systems etc. I do a lot of multitasking on my iPhone whilst having my AirPods Pro in my ears. Great video by the way.

a lot of these multitasking things are problematic because you shouldn't multitask because it kills productivity by making you keep on switching your focus
most of the productivity things like recording yourself or the battery thing is easily fixable
like the battery thing can easily be fixed by you establishing a routine you do before bed where you plug in your phone and it would solve the battery problem as well as make you more organised
