$19.20 a month (12c an hour @ 40hrs a week) sounds like a pretty good patreon tier.

I've never wanted to support a criminal gangster more in my life

Bro:
-Accidentally committed a financial crime to keep a learning center open
-Spent his time in prison educating and helping his fellow inmates
-Spreads awareness about horrible conditions without spreading blame
-Learned as much as he could whenever he could
-Helped who he could, when he could, where he could

And yet was burned by the media and government.

This man has singlehandedly mastered the art of keeping an ADHD brain attentive by changing the scenery just before our attention span lapses

I'm a criminal defense attorney from Wisconsin and I had to (sadly) laugh when you expressed shock that we "had" a prison for children. Na, man. We still have one. It was ordered closed by the WI legislature several years ago, but it's still open. There are still kids there.

I am fascinated by your story, both as a lawyer and as an IT/science nerd (yes, we are rare, but we do exist). I have so many questions, but thank you for sharing what you did. I appreciated listening to it.

Biologist here: given your stint in prison and the era you were in, I'd strongly suggest talking to your doctor about getting a tuberculosis test. TB is rampant in US prisons, and it's shockingly under diagnosed.

Also, you do not want to be dealing with a tuberculoma 15 years down the line. Trust me on that.

Holy shit dude. I don't know what it is about you, I think it's just that it's increasingly rare to see such authenticity. Of course I try to be this authentic, but it's an journey that is way deeper than you understand until you're there.

It's wildly cool to see that you've 'made it' to authenticity. That pursuit of fulfillment that can only be brought about by years of pursuing honesty and your version of the highest good. No trivial matter to say the least. (of course you reasonably think that I'm wrong, that's part of the game lol)

I hope to meet you one day man it would be a pleasure.

Holy Bejeebus man. Even when stuck in one of the crappiest situations imaginable, you STILL found a way to help and educate people to the best of your ability. As a fellow lover of neat electrical stuff, and also as someone that likes to share that knowledge with others (sometimes against their will), my hat is off to you.

Aspiring Sparky here. I've learned more from a month of your Shorts than nearly a year of Trade School, and now I learn that I got a comprehensive education boost from a certified Science Gangster. You have and are currently helping me get a solid grasp on keeping lights on without starting a fire, and THAT'S pretty cool!

The fact that you got THAT burned in life. Yet still spend so much energy making videos for people on the spectrum and not. To teach them cool things about science and electronics is a demonstration of a beautiful soul.

As someone who struggled my entire life with the public education system due to my autism. People like you are cherished.

Thank you for doing what you do. A lot of us genuinely appreciate you.

I began watching your short videos a month ago and I've been hooked to "Do you wanna see something cool?"

I'm not from your nation hence I do not know what this message or the emotions that I bring with it amount to, but know this. I'm proud of you and for everything that you've done.

It's been ages since I've seen someone so passionate about science that it becomes intoxicating and keeps you hooked. One of my country's ex presidents was a scientist as well and in my eyes, only he matched the positivity that you possess.

Keep fighting the good fight and keep sharing science gospel. Once again, we're all proud of you.

"Criminal Gangster with leadership skills and who can help anyone get their GED" is a pretty good title. It does get better. Something we ALL need to remember from time to time.

It's not much but I'm more broke than my psyche after the coffee squirts. Thank you for having the courage to truly put forth real applied empathy in probably the most constructive way I have ever seen. If I had one Iota of that during any of my schooling things would be drastically different!

Dude, you have pretty rapidly become one of my favorite channels. Every time you ask "Wanna see something cool?" my reply is "Damn right, I do!" And you deliver. Every. Time. I'm sorry you had to go through all that and I applaud you for the work you've done, and are doing.
