The classic art of misdirection, I was even looking at how she did the magic trick. I didn't even realise she was handcuffed until 1/2 way through.

Classic example of weakest link lock picking. They didnt lock the cuffs, making everything after 0:01 completely useless. Thats what that black box is around the keyholes on the cuffs. To prevent someone from unlocking them with a key. If you dont lock them after you put them on, then someone can just force the latch back like she did.

This was about as useless as putting 7 locks, a keypad alarm, and a security camera on your front door but leaving your backdoor completely unlocked.

Handcuffs weren't double locked. Defeats the black box purpose regardless. Wedge anything strong and thin, keeping it there long enough between the lock and teeth, while pushing handcuff more in will open them.

As a retired state correctional officer, I've put black boxes on thousands of inmates, there is no way possible to pick the cuffs, because the keyways are completely covered. This black box obviously has two holes in the back that align with the keyways, enabling them to be picked. Fun fact; the black box was invented by an inmate.
