Maxing Out my 30 Amp Inlet with 50 Amps from the Anker SOLIX Double Power Hub

It definitely worth having a 50 amp connection. I have 2 f3800s with the power hub. I've been able to run my house off grid for approximately a week and a half. Very impressive how much power output they have. Also when your charging one unit through ac or dc, they have the abilitly to pass the extra charge engery to the unit that has less. I found that by one day solar charging one unit and fully charged the unit, then the other unit started charging without having dc input. The same works on ac charge input. The guys at anker where definitely thinking.

Love the channel! My comment is totally unrelated to the video, as it is about your Nest cameras at your outdoor panel. I have had the same ones for years. Only one of mine is out in the open and thus not protected from the sun. I just realized the wire that comes directly out of the camera has deteriorated and the insulation is destroyed. Nest wouldn’t replace it, so I figured I would give you a heads up. Perhaps a UV protectant spray or a sleeve would be a good idea before you encounter the same problem. I have a concern because your delay trip breaker takes longer to heat up when its only 25 degrees outside, but the wires carrying the current may heat up faster and start to degrade or melt their insulation before that breaker trips. What do you think?

Looks like ecoflow saw that anker keeps the outlets active when they are connected in parallel. I discovery today with the 50A hub when i was updating the wifi firmware and noticed I had output on the standard AC outlets and also had 240v output on the hub. (in the past, connecting the 50A hub disabled the outlets on the inverter)

So what Ive found is that with the cable between the f3800's is left on it drains the f3800's much faster even if its just plugged into a plug with no current draw. I have also added one ac-dc 60v 25 amp convertors to both f3800's to recharge them while on generator.

Love the channel .Would you be able to see how long your system would be able to run off grid. I myself have x2 f3800 with one expansion battery. I get Maybe 1.5 days in winter and maybe half that in summer. I Love the system I just need more storage😂

These look great but for the investment how long will run your house in an emergency. Course your going to turn off most everything but the essentials and conserve but really figure limited lights the stove occasionally heater and maybe tv or 2 plus internet. What do you think day or 2, I’d be curious.

I've been contemplating putting in these and home power kit. Unfortunately I'm in a similar situation with my 50 amp inlet being outside in the elements. So running with the inverter would be problematic. Could one possibly cut in a junction box in the 6ga line and add a second 50 amp inlet inside the house to have a flex to either run a generator outside or run the solix units inside say at night when you want quiet power? You'd still have a interlock between grid and your system.
