Our feathered friends make wonderful companions,
but although they're adorable in their own way,
they're known to be temperamental with a long list of things they aren't keen on.
In this video, I've put together 8 things your bird hates about you.

LOL my budgies must think they are Pterodactyl's cause they are far from being afraid of me, they act like they are apex predators and try to eat me but the moment i get the millet stalks out and open the bag they turn into adorable little creatures lol. Budgies are so comical and can have a mean side and a sweet side.

About the point with the calling someone: My experience rather tells me that budgies really like the noise. Things like loud music or loud talking makes them excited and they will become very wild and active. Normally they will start singing along very loudly.

I allow my 4 budgies to fly freely around the house. They even eat outside the cage, but they do sometimes get inside the cage because there's food there too. A question appeared in my head when I heard #8. If my birds sleep on perches that I made for them around the house, do they consider the house (and ultimately my presence) to be their safe spot?

Why does one of my birds freak out like there’s no tomorrow when the cage gets cleaned, even though he’s been there for over a year?

And I have always wanted to ask 2 questions.

Question 1 : How frequently do you take your budgies to the vet ?

Question 2 : How to cure their uneven feathers ? My kids used to fly back then and how he doesn’t fly as much as he used to and his been molting bad and his feathers are very uneven.

Agree whit all of this! But my bird is a bit special... He is not like other birds when it comes to number 5 😂 He LOVES DOGS! Im always very careful and keep him in the cage if there is a new dog over that he does not know, but he gets mad about this 😂 We have a few dogs he knows very well and he loves to sitt on them, run around their paws, kiss them ect. Every dog is his best friend and he wabts to keep them 😂❤️🐶🐦 My other birds are normal and keep their distans from the weird furry forleggers 😂

Very accurate advice. We have conures & a ring neck, where this is true from everything said.
Well done 👍

I am so glad you made a video about this!
I always wear the same cream everyday. It's 100% natural and safe for birds but I never knew that smells bothered them. It's a familiar smell since I wear it everyday but I will now be more aware of that. I also thought, when I first had a bird that it was okay to stroke their tummy but then I realised why they would bite me when I did so.

I don't let my two budgies fly around the house because I am too worried about them eating plants which could be toxic and them falling into open water or anything. It's just too much to worry about so instead I give them a whole room which is completely bird proof. They have a small-ish cage because they are hardly ever in it. They only eat their seeds and vitamins and drink in it. Sometimes, they chill in it for a bit but never sleep. They usually sleep on their play tree. Not sure if that's bad?

Thank you, Salvador Budgie!

1:47 👁👄👁 I’m gonna stop kissing my bird’s back from now on, no wonder she’s so territorial around my other bird every time my hand gets close to him…

Question: I have a canary and I think she likes me. What can I try to get her out of the cage without force? she will never get out of her cage I tried everything leaving her in the room alone so she doesnt have anything to fear, leaving her favourite snacks outside to encoruge her to get out. At this point I feel defeated no matter how hard I try she always sticks to her cage :(

Edit: I would like to thank everyone for their suggestions I will try them with caution :)

Hi salvador! I try to give my budgies outside time, but they never leave the area. Such as the top of their cage, or their play gym. The only time they fly off is when their hungry and want more food than what they have

I am so happy that I get my birds out the cage everyday but I get them in when they want to eat and when they nap or rest because for some reason my birds don’t like sleeping out side the cage
