How to fix ERROR 8 on the ZERO E-Scooter

Simple tutorial to fix the ERROR 8 on the ZERO E-scooter. From our previous tutorial, you will find out that the ERROR 8 code description refers to something very obscure: Turnstile error. This "turnstile" is basically the throttle lever that is connected to the LCD.

There are 2 reasons for this error on the lever:
1. The screw isn't tight or the screw is too tight (both of which are no good).
2. The magnet on the lever has fallen out of place

worked for my Mototech thor 60v 2400w scooter. Note that the screw was an Allen bolt on mine, tried tightening first and that didn't work, then just took it apart, cleaned the magnet and reinstalled (had to clean it twice), worked after that.

If you take the spring out, it's easy to put it in. First, fix one end in the controller and angle the spring a bit up for the other end, and put the plastic only slightly on the top. You can catch it with the plastic inside the top part and use that to tension the spring and press it down in its place. It worked fast, but only after I've tried many other ways, and yeah, my 08 error is still there.

where can i buy just the magnet? mine fell out .. cant find it anywhere..

I had this problem it was due to a wire short circuiting which in turn did something to the battery management system which cut my 48 volt battery down to 5 volts so I had to disconnect it reconnected and then it would work but I had to find the short in the wire to stop it happening again. Plus looking at the battery management system something had short it out there as well and it only needed the black soot cleaned off for it to work again

This doesnt solve my error #8 problem, I even checked the inside sensor ( 3 legged)
If it is lose or what ever.
Clean the magnet, etc etc.
Nothing works.

My lcd trigger was working fine then one day I turned led lights on by holding mode button down... now pins that turn lcd light on that come out of lcd throttle are permanently on... can never turn my led lights off unless I unplug entire throttle... any solution for this ?

I need help, I don't know what to do, I bought the nanrobot d6+ 2.0, and when it arrived, the throttle didn't work, so I changed it, and everything worked correctly for 2 months, after nothing, error 1 appeared again, which is a fault in the accelerator, like this I changed it again, and it only lasted two days. I don't know what could be failing, I tried to press everything, remove the trigger and clean and nothing, I'm very worried about this,

It hasn't worked, I have the E08 code on my lcd and I unplugged it, checked the magnet, the spring and the screw but there's nothing wrong with them.

Where can I get a replacement magnet like that. I just found out why my Zero 10X stopped working properly coz that magnet is missing, they really should glue this piece stuck in at the factory I think.

my magnet came loose and fell of, i cannot find it even i walked all the freeking road looking for it, , guys be aware of this little piece, can make all the scooter go useless until you get a replacement, coz that magnet is hard to find... the only place to get this replacement is the seller you got the scooter from or aliexpress.. check if it is propperly glued... i cant belive they didnt placed any safety to that magnet other than just glue...

Same here, doesn’t solve error code 8 for me. Swapped out the lcd for a different one and it’s working so problem must be with the lcd itself.
