Theory Of Change

Systems change is about changing complex organizations, it is thus before anything what we would call a "theory of change" - it will give us a set of ideas and methods about how to do change in complex environments. People have been thinking about how to do change within organizations long before we came up with the idea of systems change, so a good place to start is by first understanding a little about theories of change in general so that we can better position systems change in its broader family and see how and why it is unique.

Hey, I just found your channel and I am extremly excited to watch your videos. I am primarly interested in complexity theory and emergence. Should I watch some other videos before for better understanding? Does order in which I watch your videos matter or can I just jump into whatever interests me most?
Thanks

And we need to ask for whom the desired outcome is intended. Principles matter. In Vicos Peru the indigenous people benefited from the systems change engineered by Cornell University. In Xinjiang China the engineered systems change benefits the Han Chinese at the expense of the Uigar minority.

Started off really well, but the 2nd half of the video’s language just becomes ridiculously verbose
