I really appreciate y'all. The AG center as a whole that is. I wasn't aware of a resource like this when I lived other places.

Can you please add a link to the publication discussed in the video? Thanks!

The "Louisiana Home Citrus Production" says, "Trees should be pruned after planting and before growth starts in the spring. The top of the tree should be removed 18 - 24 inches from the ground at a site where there are three or four evenly spaced wide-angle lateral branches with an upward-growing pattern that has developed. All growth developing below this frame-work should be removed." Is there another video I can watch to give me a visual of this?

My Meyer lemon tree is huge. Like 25 feet? I fed it some aquarium water that's probably not appropriate from what you said. It's from a pH 6.5-7.5 planted tank. I think the waste would have had (in PPM) 80-160 nitrate, 2-4 phosphate, as well as probably a minimal amount of potassium, magnesium, calcium, sulfur, and maybe iron.

Any thoughts on how I can continue to use my tank water as "compost tea" but achieve better balance? Maybe come back the next day with something higher in potassium and phosphate?

It has dropped some fruit. I'm not sure if it's self thinning, or maybe got too much rain or wind with these storms last week.

I'll try and remember to stay away from the root mound next time.

You do not prune citrus trees as you do stone fruit you’re going to allow the sun to burn the limbs.
