Hello Everyone! Investing shouldn't be hard, and it shouldn't cost you a fortune.
Thank you for stopping by and I will see you in the comments :)

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for...

Our mutual funds have earned 5.6% after fees... we would have the capital gains tax of course.

Awesome topic to cover, Alex. 2%MER doesn't sound like much until you crunch some hard numbers. Currently in the process of unloading my mutual funds and going xgro for the same return at 1/10th the fees!

i woulda liked the etf mer set higher (averaged ) to meet more actual figures 0.25 i know and understand the differences .but i also experienced the AWE factor from a total newbie beginner which isnt realistic .

What's your opinion on a 4 etf portfolio? Something like XIC, XEC, XUU and XEF.

Makes no sense...this can't even keep up with inflation? What's the point?

Great work! Thanks for sharing your research!

If someone wants to get an all equity ETF - what would you suggest?

Very good. Do you have ETFs for 5 year timeline that are growth based? What are you thoughts on the AARK ETFs ?

Thx for the video
I've had my rrsp's with a bank for 20+ yrs in mutual funds with mer's from 2 to 2.5%. I want to throw up with the thought of all the money I've lost to fee's!!!
I knew when we started i wanted etf's and I've questioned it throughout but the bank doesn't offer etf's and it's a small town and I felt bad pulling my money out to go somewhere else.
Fuck that now I'm out, I only have 5 to 10 yrs left I can't waste any more time or money!!! Lol
Thanks for your video hahaha
