Sourdough Discard Crackers

Pre-heat oven to 160C

Ingredients:
100g Sourdough discard (starter) or about 1/2 cup.
14g Extra virgin olive oil or 1 tablespoon (you can replace with butter).
1g Sea salt or cooking salt or about 1/4 teaspoon.
2 teaspoons dried herbs to your liking.
Sea salt (extra for sprinkling on top.

Method:
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl until combined.
Use a flat spatula to spread onto baking paper (on oven tray).
Bake approximately 8 or 9 minutes then remove from oven and score into squares or your desired shape.
Bake for a further 20 to 40 minutes until they appear ready
or are just starting to go golden brown (no more).
Remove from oven and let cool before breaking and eating or storing in an airtight container

Note: Total baking time will depend on your oven. I used to bake for longer when my oven had no fan but now find with an oven things happen quicker, that's why it only took about 8 minutes at the start before you need to score them rather than 10.
