Years ago in P.E. in high school our coach was teaching us a "stretching exercise" and watching this it suddenly occurred to me he was teaching us Tai Chi. That crafty old bastard.

"Imagine pushing the water..."
*was already imagining myself as a waterbender...*

Yesterday’s was my 100th day. I skipped a couple of days in the first 2 weeks and then made a rule that if I missed a day I had to start over. I never missed again. There were a few 24 hour periods when I crawled out of bed at 11 p.m. to do it and get back on track. I was surprised that the last 3 days were difficult to finish. That was an eye opener.
There is a big change in my physical body, my emotions and my understanding and acceptance of myself. My food choices have improved greatly. Shingles are still here but they’ve eased. Yes, I am Drinking more water. Thank you.
If you are thinking of trying this program, I encourage you to give yourself this gift of 100 Days of Tai Chi that will give back to you in ways that will that will surprise you. I’ve just completed Day 101. Best wishes to you.

Oh my! Something I can actually do! I nearly cried when I couldn't follow some other "simple" tai chi videos for seniors. I am 84, used to be active but got sick a few years ago and stopped all activity....trying to find something I can do now to regain my strength and balance.. This was great---I even did the whole review. Thank you!

I gotta admit I felt a bit stupid starting this, but in the week I have been doing it so far I haven't had one single anxiety attack.

No leotard, no shrill voice, no pounding music. As I sat and watched it, I found myself breathing with her without even thinking about it. Thanks for this.

I am 72 years old and recovering from cancer. I lost 45 pounds and I am so weak. This workout is just right for me. My wife and I just started today and hope to continue. Thank you so much!

I was initially skeptical but I’ve kept at it for 30 days so far, and at the risk of sounding melodramatic, it’s been life changing for me. It’s improved my attitude and outlook and helped me gain direction of my life again. Cannot thank you enough!

I was inspired to learn Tai Chi ever since watching Avatar. I always wanted to be a water bender! I guess now’s the time for me to pursue my dream x)

As an extremely anxious overthinker I must say that tai chi is my biggest hope to learn to control myself and after I watched that video and practiced I can say my hope is alive, impressed and motivated! Thank you! ✌🏻🧘🏻‍♀️🙏🏻

I have depression, anxiety, and panic disorder. I'm always thinking the worst and overthink everything I do. My aunt who's a physician sent me your video. I instantly relax and just follow the movements. Thanks for these videos and can't wait to form this into an evening habit. :)

(Ive been doing 30-60 min... sometimes 2 hrs!) to get back in shape..now less..5-20 min.. everything at home is easier!! I can move around with comfort and ease!! I am a spiritual warrior!! Wow!

I stopped the video after watching only 52 seconds. Why? So I could post my thoughts and tell you this woman is amazing and gets it. Once I heard her say it's not important to move correctly but what's important is taking the time to practice daily, I was like right on lady. I turn 59 in July and still dance everyday to psychedelic trance music like a kid at an EDM festival. I even practice my own style of martial flow which is completely made up from watching years of kung fu movies and YT videos. Motion is lotion and you just gotta stay moving.

Who’s here because they actually want to learn Tai Chi, and not waterbending?

I finally found someone who actually takes slow time to teach the moves specifically and I can follow! Thank you! I have put this off for 10 years! You give me hope...

It’s like a physical meditation. Really impressed with how good this felt.

3:50 "Imagine a wave rolling in, and now it goes out, push..."
Me: "So what you're saying is, I'm waterbending?"

I had been searching YouTube for beginner’s Tai Chi and had been unsuccessful in my quest to find anything reasonable, until I Googled this and it brought me directly here. This video is a fantastic introduction to Tai Chi! I had taken a Harvard University online TaiChi course and they showed some basic moves, but never tied them together leaving me disappointed and feeling robbed. This instructor demonstrates the moves slowly and has a soothing and factual voice, leaving me with the feeling that I am being taught by someone who has good command of Tai Chi. Thank you for this channel.

I have been doing calisthenics for four years and I can tell you Tai Chi is one of the best workouts and can get you far ahead of people who start gym before basic workouts. Within first few weeks of it you will have strengthened the body enough to start basic calisthenics like half way push ups and half way squats. TaiChi is great muscle training for all age ranges.
