Have you ever wondered if there's a planet out there similar to ours? Join us on a journey to Proxima Centauri b, our closest known exoplanet neighbor, located just four light-years away. This fascinating world has the potential to be a "super Earth" with a slightly larger mass than our own. What truly ignites our curiosity is that Proxima Centauri b orbits within the habitable zone of its star, where liquid water could potentially exist on its surface. But here's the catch: just being in the habitable zone doesn't guarantee habitability. Proxima b encounters intense bouts of extreme ultraviolet radiation, hundreds of times greater than what Earth receives from the Sun. The truth is, we won't know for sure until we have the technology to explore this captivating planet up close. Join us as we dive into the mysteries of Proxima Centauri b and dream of the possibilities that lie beyond.

Yea only 4 light years. No problem. We will need just and only 6000 years to reach it.

Shorter? Or sun is 100 times bigger then it's. There are 11.5 days in a year on proxima B. That's because it's tidaly locked, meaning, it's like our moon, we only see 1 side at all times and it's very close to it's sun, so it completes a full orbit ALLOT faster because it's so close.
