It's really not that hard to believe. Cats are territorial and they choose their favorite people carefully. They're not going to let just anyone bust in while screaming at their person. I did like the "she held Binky back for our own protection" line. Also, don't declaw.

Why is everyone so surprised? FINALLY a cat has been recognized for saving its owner. There's so many of these cats out there who save their owners and don't get recognized for it. I speak from experience. Any cat who can save its owner deserves a medal for it in my book!
