Diverse Historical Romance Book Recommendations - #HRREADATHON

Hello everyone! My friends @PeaceLoveBooksxo @LaceyBooklovers and I are hosting the historical romance readathon running from Jan 15th to Jan 21, 2021 and we're so excited to have you join us! I decided to make a short video on some diverse historical romance books to add to your readathon TBR.

After hearing about a certain author's opinion on diverse characters and HEA's I was a little bummed out because I had a few of their titles on my TBR for this readathon. Since then I have been getting into Beverly Jenkins (who has been writing diverse romance since '94) Alyssa Cole, Jeannie Lin, and K.J. Charles just to name a few. Thank you for these suggestions I'm excited about reading along!

Her Wicked Marquess is SO good! I love both the hero and the heroine. It has good internal conflict and plot.

Ohh I also have a Stacy Reid on my HRReadathon tor!! Also not sure if you’ve read Sherry Thomas or Jeannie Lin, but they write some of my favorite historical romances (Sherry has the most ~gorgeous~ prose, and Jeannie’s book Butterfly Swords was one of my favorite books I read last year :)
