How to pronounce the 'R' sound in Japanese

How do you pronounce the "R" in Japanese. The "R" pronunciation is different from the English "R" pronunciation. In this video I explain the main difference and give some advice on how to pronounce that difficult Japanese "R"

The way you say it sounds so nice! When I teach French people how to pronounce the "th" sound they have to develop the facial muscles to do it! It involves a momentary possible flash of the tongue, visibly, which is HIGHLY OFFENSIVE AND PROVOCATIVE in France so they don't want to do it! They aren't even very aware of this, but you never, never stick your tongue out at anyone here, that will not work out for you! :)

Looks like i've been pronouncing it correctly all along. I looked up how to pronounce it, because it sounded too much like a d sound, when I was trying to make it sound somewhere in between a r and L sound.

I was surprised to learn that the Japanese R is _not_ pronounced with your uvula, as is common in my country. Man, this is going to be difficult to learn to do.
