UK Power Networks led on the production of this video for industry body the Energy Networks Association (ENA) which shows how overhead lines can be lethal. On average somebody is killed or injured by contact with them every month in the UK.
The video features UK Power Networks grab driver Scott Harrington plays the part of a lorry driver working for Grab and Co delivering sand to a location in the Essex countryside when tragedy strikes. Of his experience, Scott said: “We all go to work every day knowing the dangers are out there, but we take them for granted because we know our jobs and know how to do it in a way that we all go home to our families."
