I've never had problems with the tutorials until now, so for anyone asking why did he move that surface by 8: There's 2 pages of blueprints showed at the beginning, in the second one you can read the instruction: "Make changes as indicated in red revision clouds". So what he did was first follow instructions as in Blueprint one, and then made corrections to the model accordingly. One of the corrections (bottom center drawing), shows our previous dimension: From the bottom of the cylinder to the botton of the model, we have 40mm. And next to it, In a red correction cloud it says 32mm. which means we need to correct as he did, by moving our face -8mm in Y axis (40mm-32mm). This teaches us to correct an already existing model. Cheers!

Never fails. Every time I think it looks simple, and I go ahead and do the tutorial, I always learn something. This time the shift-move -8mm and shell were new to me for trying. Thank you as always. Now I will do another tutorial.

How is your display set up? Looks really crisp and minimalist. When I sketch the objects are thick blue lines and the dimensions look bold with thick lines. Any help appreciated.

how do the dimensions come along when you sketch something. Like when I sketch a circle, the diameter doesn't come along with it. I have to select smart dimension after sketching the circle

Can you make a video on the approach you take on sketching difficult parts/drawings on solidworks? Most of the time I come across a really hard Drawing and I get stuck on where to even start.

At the beginning where you do the circle and than define those two lines I don’t get fully defined also I entered the angle 7 between those two lines. How should I define it so it is fully defined?

Hi there I'm following your tutorials during the lockdown, thanks. I'm using solidworks 2019 but some commands aren't the same on my version, for instance at 3:55 where you right click for relations I don't have any in the pop out box or or the left hand side for add relations only fix with the anchor sign. Is there another way around this? thanks
