I'm starting to learn how to use solidworks. I did a 3 day crash course in college but wanted to learn more for myself at home. I learnt a few new useful things in this video. Making lines collinear, using the normal to function (although located elsewhere on my 2018/19 edition), creating a new plane to sketch from, from 3 points. Some useful things to know there. I appreciate this video and the time that you went into to produce it, thank you, keep up the good work.

If anyone can't figure out how to make the relation menu come up for the lines, you need to select multiple lines at the same time using the ctrl key.

actually I have some problem with that. After creation of sketch with construction lines, it disappears when i'm leaving sketch. I can't find the option to show it again during creation a plane... Any ideas?

Hi there could you please be more clear about which plane you had chosen for the sketch before you draw the triangle as it was not clear enough which plane you clicked on thanks in advance
