Being a trainer myself I would like to add one more which I am sure you too would agree with. Many people want to dive right into frameworks etc without knowledge or with very little knowledge of the fundamentals. Many times I sympathise with them as they do not have enough time/given sufficient time to learn ground up. With time web development has been moving away from coding using fundamental constructs to higher level abstractions. Having seen the evolution over many years the old timers have a good idea of the fundamentals, but people entering afresh have that much to scale up on. They have the energy to do it but need the guidance and be given the time and opportunity to.

Failing to learn how to code isn't the problem here. The real problem here is that people are not learning how to fix the problem. See programming is all about problem solving, so when someone comes across an error when learning no-one is teaching people about these different errors or how to fix those different problems they might come across.
