Front Brake Pad Replacement on a 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek by an Amateur!

I have been thinking about doing this for quite some time. My wife drives so gently that after 50,000 miles, the brakes were actually okay...

I need to check of the left front drive axle is covered by the power train warranty, it is actually starting to click around sharp turns!

If not, I will buy it myself as it is only 66.00, and just replace it myself!

It is hard to believe the age we live in where you can buy a whole drive axle complete with cv joint for 66 dollars!

Back in the day, I replaced a cv joint on one of my cars, and it alone cost 70 dollars and was a bitch!

correct torque is ALWAYS 1/2 turn before the bolt breaks.
