The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has said humanity is "perilously close" to missing its chance to secure a liveable future, stressing the need for urgent action, with a focus on equity and justice. The report by the UN panel also warned of a narrowing window for action. It said climate change impacts are already grave, wide-ranging, and in some cases "irreversible". Even a temporary increase in warming to 1.5°C could wreak permanent damage on some ecosystems, and up to 14% of land species face a very high risk of extinction.

They have no idea.
That they can point to a time, a temperature where there is "no return" is comical.
