Hi guys! It's 2021 and I am back! Now that I've been working more in the field, I am ready to share what I know! Thank you so much for the support and love you all have provided me.

As a sonographer, your job is to take ultrasound pictures right? Well there's more to it!
In this video i'll tackle in on what is involved before and after scanning!

As always feel free to message me on IG @kristydms this is where you can talk to me directly and the best way to ask your questions!

I am considering this field. I was trying for PA and then PT but the waiting is killing me. I work in the ER and sort of burnt out after 18yrs. At 55 years old I'm looking for a field where I can pretty much not burn myself out. I have a BS degree but my GPA is too low and that's the reason why PA and PT school aren't giving me a chance.

I really appreciate this video. Been researching on careers that are sustainable & I can potentially use to migrate. Love from Jamaica 💛

I have a pacemaker that I've had since I was a newborn pretty much and I've literally grew up with cardiovascular sonography as part as my life and honestly has always been very interesting. I want to be a Cardiovascular sonographer but im don't sure what other options are out there

Yay, excited to see your new video! I think a good video would be how do you take care of yourself to stay healthy for being a sonographer, do you go to chiropractor or get massages, or foam roll, etc =) You're looking great Kristy !

This was really helpful, thank you. I'm considering switching careers to sonography. I was wondering what percentage of the time you spend writing reports/ doing computer work (not including the sonography machine as computer work)? Thank you so much in advance

So do you get your own exam room when working at a office rather than hospital? or do you share it with other techs when your not there?

Can I ask a specific question? My interview is next week and then aptitude test on 3/11. The test will cover some 3D spatial ability testing, and a little bit of physics. Do you know where I can get practice with the 3D spatial ability? As far as physics, what do you think would be the most helpful to brush up on.

How do you maintain a poker face when you see abnormalities of the baby? And how do you cope with that kind of news?

Hey! First off, I love your videos. Please keep doing what you are doing. I have a quick question though, if I am not wrong, you got a bachelor in DMS, right? Do you know any other bachelor degree that is accepted when one taking SPI or ARDMS? (ex: radiology? biology?)

I know this is a year old video but is this field age friendly😬 I’m 38 looking to make a career shift and back in the day ( early 20s) I wanted to do this.

Is it possible to become a sonographer and specialize so that one isn't dealing with internal/invasive exams? I'm quite interested in the field, and I have the right mentality to deal with the reality of the pathologies, but I'm genuinely not interested in doing internal exams. I was thinking Cardiac Sonography, but I don't want to be in a specialty without plenty of job openings.
