When people talk about time optimisation, they always start from the morning routine, but waking up earlier and earlier, chasing those early morning runs, eventually will take their toll if you don't do the bit before well. Which is sleep.

Sleeping well is super important for setting up the next day. If your waking up tired everyday and going to bed exhausted- that not normal, somethings wrong and it needs too change.

In this video I discuss the importance of a carb heavy early meal, the importance of having an early dinner, why going on an evening walk should be a nailed on part of your day. How having a tidy room is more important than just for the aesthetic, why you shouldn't use your phone before you sleep, if you should be taking supplements before you sleep, and much much more

This video is based on the research of Andrew Huberman, some papers I have personally read myself and also some videos created by other content creators.

Take care of yourself first James! You need your sleep and relaxation, eat sensible. I eat my big meal at lunch time and a lighter dinner meal. We will all be here waiting patiently if you need some days off. Everyone take care and stay healthy and happy!I love going for a nice walk in the evening and maybe a bath to really relax. I sometimes put a short story on from YouTube and my phone turns off automatically and I drift off.

10:36 You could program your phone so that after a certain time you won't receive notifications from anyone other than your girlfriend. I do this when I put my iPhone in study mode. With iOS 18 it's easier to do this.
