I use the brightness of my phone screen to burn my eyes into awakeness in the morning. Crucial part of my morning routine.

How does all that take only an hour? I wake up, have breakfast, get ready, and it's been an hour already.

The stretching your body in the morning thing is really amazing. I always do some yoga postures as soon as I wake up, sometimes while still on my bed. It makes a HUGE difference of how I feel during the day, making it more positive of course

Heres my philosophy on reaching your goals.
Step 1 - get a diary
Step 2 - write down your goals and where you want to be in the next 5 years.
Step 3 - get a plan
Steo 4 - get up of your ass.

Whats held me back was beer, smoking, my phone and laziness. Its never to late to change your life. I believe in you.

I agree 110%. I used to hate mornings, now I hate not having my me time. Ive developed almost the same routine, except mine is two hours and I try to fit in yoga or walking the dog, interchangeably. I started to really value this alone, self nurturing time. It has made me a more calm person. Rushing out the door is starting the day off in chaos. If Im really short on time, then I choose between journaling, meditating and yoga, whichever I feel I could benefit the most. This routine works great for me when Im working, but not so great for me when Im in school, because Im a late night studier. So Im going to have to figure out what works while in medical school.

Hi Dr.Jubbal you probably won’t ever read this but I really appreciate your channel. I’m a junior in high school with my cumulative GPA at a 2.2. Last year I took medical assistant classes and realized how much I love medicine and science and hope to major in biochem. Your videos have helped me so much!!! Last semester I had a 2.3 gpa this semester I have a 4.2! I hope to keep it like this and keep this motivation going into college

There can't be a good morning routine without a good sleep routine. I can't make my morning routine without the proper sleep time and sleep quality.

This is the advice on morning routines that I've been looking for. I am in DNP school, and struggle to stay talk oriented d/t ADHD. This video gives simple, practical advice instead of someone going on and on about their own Instagram-ready life. Thanks! I'm excited to check out your other videos

It blows my mind to think that there are actually people out there without what feels like a million mental health issues who watch videos like these and afterwards are able to tell their friends things like "you know, I've implemented this new morning routine. I've been doing it for a couple of months and it has really improved my energy levels and productivity".
I mean, go you! But I really only have to focus on the little things (like making my bed, showering, getting groceries - which I manage about twice a months if I'm lucky) because it's so hard to go beyond that. And it might be just the bubble I'm in but it seems like I only talk to people who struggle with similar problems. Videos like these are certainly helping some people out there, I'm sure. But they're also making me feel very anxious and guilty about all the things I'm not able to do. Yes, I don't NEED to watch them, of course, but when you're in a state like this, videos with titles like "how to improve" or "how to get better at" (you name it) are like a magnet because of this constant awareness that there is something wrong with the way you live your life.
I don't even know why I'm writing this comment, is it a complaint or am I looking for reassurance...I don't know.
