This dropped at the perfect time for me. I literally had a mental breakdown a few hours ago. I tried to shoot a video (I've done that twice before but didn't post them because they're terrible) and failed miserably, it took me forever to remember how to work my camera, I made the most ridiculous mistakes with the audio and finally when I got the hang of things my camera was gonna die and I couldn't find the charger. I spent almost an hour looking for that charger, I got so exhausted and tried to film with a laptop or my phone but it just wasn't working out for me. I wish I knew your tips before.
But that's all good cause I'm going to film tomorrow even if it's in the midst of an earthquake.

I totally agree. Thanks for this video!!! I started my channel a year ago and gave up on it. I used window and you can see the sun going down and my light changing in my video and too much happening in the background. Lol.

As great as it is to try and be prepared as possible, it’s SOOO much more important to not get bogged down by all the little details, avoid the procrastination brought on by “analysis paralysis”, and just START!

With hindsight, it’s so easy to look back at old videos (especially the first) and think, “If only I knew then what I know now, I’d’ve done things differently.” However, Vanessa, you’re a shining example of what is possible, but only because you chose to, as Think Media would say, “start messy!” And in doing so, are a huge inspiration to us!

🙋🏿‍♀️ INFP here!! And I've had the opposite problem, of not wanting to share with people that I was putting together a YouTube Channel. This is my challenge for 2020, as I help other INFPs establish the career and lives they can be happy in, I too am stepping out and working through my own resistance so I can serve others!!
