So to get this straight, Notion Mail isn't even an email provider, but just an alternate front-end for your existing email, and currently only limited to Gmail...? Gmail and Notion Mail aren't even the same product category. Comparing them just doesn't make sense. If Notion Mail let you create an email address with them and host it with them, then it would be comparable. It's not even to say Notion Mail isn't useful, but rather, the comparison just doesn't make sense here. I think the video in and of itself is fine, and the product looks like it can be useful to lots of people, but the comparison of an email front-end, with a full-fledged email hosting service, is just not accurate. Especially when you're saying "Notion Mail is better than Gmail", but at the same time, "you still need to use your Gmail account".

The reason I don't use project management tools is that they end up becoming a full-time occupation, i.e, you can spend half a day just dragging and dropping stuff, editing project titles and descriptions, uploading media, diving into deeply nested to-do lists and timelines to update them, etc. In the end, you get exhaused before doing the actual tasks you were organizing.

Whether Gmail is close or not, it will outlive Notion Mail.

Notion is not a true email service, this video doesn’t clearly get that across early enough. Nobody can “move” to notion as you need Gmail underneath. It’s nowhere near an alternative to gmail.
