Got so excited to publish this that I totally forgot to show how to add the actual email content to Notion - you can find the instructions in more detail in the written blog post, but here's the TL/DR:

Add another module to the end of the automation. Use Notion - Append a Page Content. Select the newly created email entry and add the cleaned up data to the body as a paragraph 💪🏻

Edit 1: Make also just released an official OpenAI module. You can use this as well to configure things instead of using the http request.

Edit 2: If you keep getting an error that your json body is formatted wrong, it might be an issue with quotation marks inside your email. Replacing all double brackets ( " ) with single brackets ( ' ) should do the trick. You can use another text parser module for this or just add a replace function to wrap the email before inserting it into the prompt

This is really great. You are a great teacher. Any chance you would be willing to show us how I could create an automated journaling system? I have to report my activities per day at the end of the month. If this could copy the subject line and the recipient, it could create a list of all the sent emails automatically which I can submit as my activities report. I'm guessing this could be done easily, but not sure how I would connect it without forwarding everything.

This video made me instantly subscribe. i almost got it to work, but I think I'm having trouble with the HTTP module. Essentially, every week I get a document on my email and I want the automated task in notion to keep track of those. So I don't really care about the content of the email (except maybe the document N°). Is there a way to do that? I understand if my question is too broad haha

I continue to receive the HTTP 400 error: "We could not parse the JSON body of your request. (HINT: This likely means you aren't using your HTTP library correctly. The OpenAI API expects a JSON payload, but what was sent was not valid JSON.)"
Code and content type are JSON to match up with your blog and video. Any ideas why I'd still be getting this error?

Great tutorial! I can't find anything else so comprehensive! I would like to add the email summary inside the database item. By that I mean the page contents inside the item. But I can't find the Make Notion module that allows me to do this. Any ideas?

Hi Matthias! Awesome use-case! My first experience setting up a no-code integration with OpenAI and I'm super exicted! Great explainer -- However, I got this working and then I came back to it a couple days later and got this issue at the first Notion Create Database module - "BundleValidationError - Missing value of required parameter 'title'". Any chance you have seen this? I tried to do a little searching but found nothing (using the template database you provided). Thanks!
