I'm not clear why you say there are no lines or interdependencies in Gantt charts. Activity item predecessors and successors can (should) be included in the creation of a Gantt chart. If a PM is not using logical interdependencies in their Gantts, they're doing something seriously wrong. Can you explain what you mean?
