Gantt Chart: A project planner technique used in many businesses is a Gantt Chart, developed by a man named Gantt derived from an idea called a harmonograph by Karol Adamiecki. A Gantt chart marks out the time allotted for a project, starts at the end point and works backwards, filling in due dates, etc. to the beginning. Some Gantt charts work in reverse. Gantt charts can also allocate teams and assets within the chart to more highly control the variables involved in project management.

Perfect, im working as production engineer EPCI for oil and gas. I think i need to learn from basic. There a lot of problem in actual job. Mostly dueto material delay, so planner team need to make overlap schedule. But i think its not realistic sometime. And i dont have strong reason to discuss with them. Eventhough as actual we have sense for that

Could you do a best practices video on updating an excel gantt chart, once the project is actually running. I have a hard time imagining how it will look like and work, e.g. when you have a delay on the critical path. Seems it would require a lot of manual work?
