Paul Emerson, PhD, is director of the International Trachoma Initiative (ITI), a program of The Task Force for Global Health, and an Emory affiliate working for a world free from trachoma.
ITI supports the global elimination effort by managing Pfizer’s donation of the antibiotic Zithromax®, which is distributed as part of comprehensive public health programs to eliminate trachoma.
