55mph isn’t that low. Especially for those type of roads, and the rest of the rules would be expected anywhere…

If you are teaching people to have the lights on at all times, then please do it in the video as well. You are just having the "parking lights" turned on, you are supposed to have the driving lights turned on at all times.

Also remember, even though the maximum speed is 56 mph (90 km/h), that does not mean that roads everywhere can handle that speed. There are instances where you would fly off the road if you would keep that speed. The road is not designed everywhere to allow 56 mph, you have to keep that in mind even though it says 56 mph, and especially on gravel roads where the general max speed is 50 mph, but at times the road may barely handle 10 mph... ( I have seen cars flipped over and the tourist driver said..."it said 50 mph"... (80km/h).... )

All these rules make pwrfect sense. Put most Americans on a road that narrow and they'd be doing 35mph.

90 km/hr is not slow. It’s decent. You don’t need to drive like a maniac especially in a new setting in another country

One: 56mph, not 55. Two: it's not that slow, it's actually decently fast. Three: of course phone is prohibited while driving, it's a common practice

Someone told me that their friend once traveled to iceland and the wind blew their car door straight into the other hinge direction.
Yeah, hold your car doors tight!

The its totally fine to drive 90 kilometres per hour for Icelandic roads if you go any faster it will increase the risk of you driving of the road or crashing.

Interesting.

When driving in Saudi Arabia I learned you MUST keep a sheet of sandpaper near you at all times when you’re operating the vehicle. Why?
It’s a map of their country.
