I worked as an engineer 40 years for DuPont. My greatest compliment came when our German engineers asked for my help to solve a serious production issue. When I visited them they treated me with incredible respect for solving their problems. I’ll never forget their hospitality. When the Germans ask for your engineering help you feel like something special.

Craftsmanship and precision two fundamentals which made german engineering at its best.

Be sure when one means to 'adapt', it does not mean _destroy_ what made Germany progressively industrial in the first place.
The reason Germany has been so successful so long is that it had a soul put into the work. Take that away, the work is soulless.

Germans are fantastic quality cars, tech, crafts although other countries are catching up. Not any time soon but eventually there will be a new player in the game.

What does quality mean? Corporate reputation, competing the same way, a long term useful product range. Quality can mean the result of automation better materials.🤯🤯🤯

I don't like how most German people are looked down on, everybody sees them in almost the same way, I don't think many people realize how smart they are

I’ve always found Germans to be super smart people. I’ve never understood that you can say Oriental/Asian counties such as Japan/China/Taiwan, and Singapore are smart People but you can’t say that Germans are smart people too. Would that be because Germans are White People? Why can’t you say it? I’ve only met a handful of Germans and I have to say, each on of them have blown me away. I find them to be extremely Professional and smart smart People. That’s just my own personal experiences with them.

Having lived 3.5 years in Germany, I am beginning to realize that quality of German products is a very successful myth. I have had a new Volkswagen and a quite new Audi. I am not buying those again. But now that I am surrounded by made in Germany I see that these were not just unfortunate examples. Stuff that you never even expect to give up on you, will, if it is Made In Germany.
