As a black woman, hydroquinone is the only ingredient that made a huge different on my complexion. Thank you Doctor Idriss!

Thank you so much for explaining the why's of why we should or shouldn't use a product.
I'm using several of your suggestions for my hyperpigmentation.
The 'hot dog water' Vit C is a game changer for me!
I'm coming up on a year of serious repairing skin care, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the results 100%
The sulfer mask help my pores be less visible, and less than $10 is very affordable.
Thank you for sharing the easiest, generally super inexpensive products that will give us the best results.
I'll be 54 next month, and I feel like my skin looks great most days, mostly thanks to advice that you have shared.

I like mine, it looks like freckles or just unique markings. It's also ok to let it be ❤ My face looks borning to me when I cover it with makeup.

Hydroquinone saved my skin too. I got melasma after my second pregnancy and tried vitamin c first. It took no time once I added in hydroquinone. Grateful for having access to videos like these.

Doctors seem very concerned with prescribing hydroquinone. My main concern is hyperpigmentation/sun spots, and I’ve been to several derms who say the only thing I can do is vipeel. Will be some time before I can afford that, so ordered hydroquinone/ tret mixed from alldaychemist. Been using for two months, hasn’t eliminated any spots yet but has made the texture better.

Thank you so much for mentioning issues with melasma and hyperpigmentation in conjunction with IVF . because it is a brutal kick in the teeth and ribs when you’re already down and often if the IVF doesn’t work, you are still left with the tremendous amount of pigmentation….. so essentially you’ve paid to have pigmentation on your face🤷‍♀️😭

This is true I also saved my skin using hydroquinone. And Tret. Mild toner, and also sunscreen. And cerave moisturizing to seal it. For two months only. Then after I switched to just using tret, and aloe Vera when before putting Tret. And other moisturizer to seal it. So it won’t be too hard.. now my skin also look so good

But I was on a strong dose due to my low egg count and I did back to back rounds my hormonal acne is fucked😂 just ordered the sulfur !

I LOVED using hydroquinone before it became prescription only. I used it every winter to help with acne scarring and my skin was beautiful. Sad it’s not OTC anymore.

Can u discuss rebound melasma for skin in color… I’m of Hispanic ethnic decent … fair skinned but tan easily… tried Hydroquinone sold at my dermatologist office for the 1st time and upon cycling off found the melasma came back worse and seemed to have spread a bit more… any thoughts ?

I got that so bad with my second pregnancy. I mean bad. But once i gave birth it literally went away. Is that not normal??? She says its only treated with meds but mine went away once my baby was out. Within a couple weeks it was unnoticeable anymore. And now at 2 months, i have no more hyperpigmentation at all. Crazy
