NUP MPs arrested while trying to access party headquarters

Three National Unity Platform Members of Parliament arrested while trying to access their party headquarters at Makerere Kavule in Kampala have been charged with conducting themselves in a manner that was likely to breach public peace. The MPs together with several supporters of the party appeared before Grade One Magistrate Martin Kirya at LDC Magistrates Court. They denied the charges and remanded to Luzira Prison until Thursday this week. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition
