I do electrical work for a living. All day we’re selecting the correct wire size for equipment based on how many amps it requires. Do you not have to worry about that with small electronics? Say a sizable amount of copper gets removed from the board. You would think it was designed at that certain size to prevent overheating/handle the load required of the circuit. Love your videos, you’re very talented!

My God!! How in the world do you find these deals! Every person I come across wants a unreasonable price for their "broken" PS4 pro. Cheers on the find, and work!

I did the EXACT same thing to my PS4 pro, I was trying to clean the fan but while I was removing the power supply it came out to fast and the connector ripped right off the board, luckily my dad was able to solder it back on

I've never heard of a grinding pen! Which inspired me to ask if you can do a video on all the tools you use or have in your arsenal! It'd be cool to see 😁

Keep trying little bro. Practice makes perfect. I broke a lot of my electronics trying to fix them. That’s how you learn.

A good replacement for the 2 ends of the ground pads/securing braces is to get a piece of solder wick and just cut it into 2 squares and soak them in solder and solder that to the 2 base locations so the female connector itself has something more sturdy/stable to hold onto. I find it better than trying to solder it to the leftover pieces.

For the 2 little pins that you needed to reconnect (left two) there are actually spare solder points to that pin on the backside of the mainboard.

don't forget Cod3r had a great trick with the copper wicking cable, using it to remake the contact pads (not the wires)

I like to go to one of the thrift stores that have an as-is area and find many simple fixers for under ten bucks ! Also, have a stash of parts!
