Engineers at EPFL have developed a predictive control model that allows swarms of drones to fly in cluttered environments quickly and safely. It works by enabling individual drones to predict their own behavior and that of their neighbors in the swarm.

This program or what they're talking about has been talked about for over a decade they were trying to design it for cars like locust swarm or whatever because locust can fly in the millions and never touch each other coming within thousands of an inch of each other but never hitting

This is cool but unrealistic as far as forest flight is concerned. More like Parthenon. Forest flying also involves avoiding small branches and debris
