If I were to want to connect 2 instruments and 1 microphone, would the channel where the microphone is be cut out? Would I be able to hear the microphone at all?

Hi. This may be a silly newbie question but wanted to check before purchasing. When recording via USB do the 2 channels record as seperate tracks? Can you add channels individually to something like OBS or does it just show up as 1 device? Thanks!

Thanks for the video. I don't want to use it as a USB interface, but as a mini-mixer -- mix my voice via mic, music via the line input, balance the two sources and then record the RCA outputs to a tape recorder and end up with a voice over music recording (mono OK). Will this unit do that? I know I can get a small mixer for about the same price, but I want something really small. (I'd use the USB only for power, connected to a phone charger or something.) Thanks!

In my opinion, next to the solo the duo is a scam. It does nothing more than the solo.

Both have 2 inputs one output. the only difference is that the duo has an extra 'monitor' knob, and a combined XLR/JACK input for the 2nd channel (solo has jack).

Have you astualy used a M-Audio M-Track USB Audio Interfaceor are you just reading the side of the box ?.Because pro tools is NOT included in the software package and as far as I am councerned this is false advertiseing .
