Here are 3 simple ways to stop overeating and lose weight. Enjoy! Add me on Instagram: MarioTomich

There you'll the results from my fitness mentoring program and see how you can apply to work with me.

About the video:
In this video, you'll learn 3 strategies for how to stop overeating and lose weight. I decided to specifically focus on overeating and snacking as I see so many people struggle with losing weight because of these habits.

The truth is, even a couple of days mindless overeating and snacking can lead to gaining weight. Most people underestimate how much influence these factors have on consistency.

I remember how a single weekend of overeating would completely erase 1-2 weeks of progress. This wouldn't only be a physical set back, but mentally it was challenging to recommit to the process.

I felt like I was losing and gaining the same body fat. In hindsight, I can confidently say that learning ways to stop overeating and snacking have been one of the turning points.

Not only did it speed up the fat loss, which is great, but it gave me the feeling that I was in control over my nutrition. I was a lot more aware of my food choices, and I understood my weaknesses much better. This allowed me to optimize my diet and make this a lifestyle.

I hope that my experience and these strategies to stop overeating and binging help you on your journey as well so you can reach your goal physique.

Biggest one for me is to cut back on the vape pen at night. Once I've had a hit and Netflix is on, I begin my rampage through the kitchen like a velociraptor.

The number 1 strategy that works for me is make note of foods you tend to binge on and simply dont stock them in the house. Out of sight out of mind strategy.

One tip that worked for me during times of massive food temptation was to put on my retainer. The urge to eat would disappear immediately

Thanks Mario! I'd like to add my experience to help maybe someone

IF worked fine for me last year, but this year it actually made my binging way worse.

Always remember, life is moving through phases, and something might work for you right now, but maybe not next Year. And vice versa.

So in my case, planning food out and sticking to 3 healthy meals a day with maybe some fruit in between helped me a lot to decrease binging.

And if feel like today i might be feeling the need to binge, i just eat healthier breakfast and lunch e.g. lentils instead noodles, and mostly that fills me up. If I then binge later, im usually just a bit over my calories. + Drink a lot of Water.

Other things I'd do:
Try to do something emotionally fullfilling that overlaps the feeling to binge or distracts you from it. Or even write your friend and talk about it.

Dont force yourself through methods learnt if they dont work for you. Reflect on Why and adjust :)

Hope that helps.

My fall back meal plan that gets me back on track is beef and greens, pepperonies and mozerella cheese and eggs and some watermelon or grapes.

Another good strategy is chewing more. I try to chew at least 20 times per bite so eating doesn't become as impulsive. Thanks for the great videos, Mario!

This a great and quick video that talks a lot about things I've struggled doing forever. Now that I have these things set, dieting is so much easier! Thanks so much for all your help Mario :).

P.S. Love the new video quality and editing. Transition from and to graphs, charts, and pictures is very helpful and seamless.

I find a high fibre diet really helps. I personally eat tons of fruit and veg. The lower the caloric density, the better. I also eat loads of skinless fish, which is high in protein, low in fat. High Fibre + High Protein = Maximum satiety. Only after hitting my fibre and protein goals, i allow myself to eat junk. It's difficult to overeat as i am already pretty full by the time i start on junk.

Hi and thanks for another great vid! Does lemon water break the fast?
It's a daily habit of mine which I would really like to keep doing, if possible.

So say i am benching 300lbs for 8 reps. How much weight should i increase next time i bench? 2.5 or 5 lbs? Or just do more reps? Or should i lift same 300lbs ?

Intermittent Fasting is the only thing that has worked for me because it's stopped me snacking at night! Most of my calories used to be taken in after 7/8pm in the form of alcohol and processed snacks but since IF I can't eat after 6 so it's made a massive difference.

I got these intense sweet craving at late evening when on a diet. My solution is chewing gum. Rather going through a couple pacs of gum than killing a box of Oreos, and feeling bad next day. I have a family, and was kind of hard not to binge on their snacks when I dieted. Now I follow a pretty strict diet but never more than 6 weeks and then minimum 4 weeks at maintenance afterwards. So far lost 24 pounds. Whatever floats your boat.. :-D
