My wife has dementia and has always been an avid knitter, this Arm Knitting is wonderful therapy and she has passed it on to her Alzhiemers group and they are all having a try. Thank you so much for such an easy to follow video. We are not expecting amazing results, but the benefits of the therapy are amazing. Thanks again.

YOUR DOG!
I mean the blanket is great and all that. But your dog! She's a true beauty.

BeccaBxo I just watched this video for the first time today. Rewatched a couple key areas and made a blanket following her instructions. It took me about 5 hours but I made mine twice the size as the one she did. (I used a baseball bat the slip my stitches onto whenever I needed a break then slid them back up onto my arm)
I had never knitted anything in my life before. It was very relaxing once I got the hang of it. I’ll definitely be doing it again.

You missed a step. Make sure you use the bathroom before you start.

I swear no one must've watched this video all the way through. It was really informative and answered all my questions. This looks super easy and fun!

I decided to learn how to arm knit for a project where all seniors have to learn how to do something new. I followed this video, and this video only. Happy to say my blanket turned out fantastic, didn’t take forever, and I never once freaked out due to overwhelming stress and difficulty. Thank you!!

Your video is so clear, concise and easy to follow. You could sell ice in Alaska with your sweet, easy going voice. I am so excited to start. I am a true beginner and I now feel I know everything I need to get started. I'll have this running in slo-mo the whole time!  You are by far, the best instructor out there. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I couldn't arm knit ( short arms, I'm like 5ft) so I lLEG KNITTED! Basically the same thing just with legs instead of arms😋

Found your arm knitting videos two days ago and my 19 month old daughter is now curled up snuggly watching Frozen under her brand new chunky toddler sized blanket (I bought Clearance wool without noticing so had to keep it small). My mum has seen it and she wants me to show her how and I had to show a friend this morning. Even paused overnight by threading it off my arm and onto a fat rolling pin! :) Thank you so much for being so clear with instructions :) xxxx

45 minutes for people who are good. It took me about 45 days.

That was very enlightening to those who have a hard time grasping the concept of knitting, very basic stitches and the whole making of the stitch as well as the ending of a blanket, can see this helping a lot of people who have a hard time figuring out the needlework of knitting!

Thank you for the great tutorial! I am a beginner and was able to make this blanket quite easily. I took my time and watched two movies while knitting (about 4 hours). I got frustrated at a few points when casting on and sometimes when it was difficult to get my stitches to be equal sizes but I think it turned out great! I used “loop & threads free spirit yarn” which comes in larger skeins of 54 yards and appears to be thicker than the couture jazz. I used exactly 3 skeins and my blanket is about the same size as the one in the video. Can’t wait to give it as a gift this Christmas! Thanks so much!

you could also make out of old t-shirts as a cheaper option. A men's medium shirt cut at an inch wide gives you approximately 40 feet of t-shirt yarn.

Just finished making this blanket, and I'm so in love with it! I've always thought I couldn't knit, I wish my darling aunt could see it. Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial!

Hi there! A lot of people are asking how many skeins I used. I used a total of 11 skeins of yarn which I mention in the video. I also show pictures of the finished blanket at the beginning of the video which it seems like a lot of people are missing. If you want more information on the blanket and yarn, head to my blog SimplyMaggie.com :)

Deep respect Maggie. A very well put together demonstration. I found it fascinating. People are clearly getting lots of positive benefits from your work.

This was awesome to do! I made one slight adjustment: my arms are bigger than hers, so I used wrapping paper tubes so that I got a smaller weave. It took a minute to get the rhythm, but once I did, it worked amazing!

This is a really well explained video. I watched four others before this and did not understand what they were trying to say at all! I came to your video and finally get it. Thank you so much.
