just went there today after a year or so and wow prices are sky high. I did get a nice sandwich for 4.99 but the groceries i bought were way higher than trader joes.

IT's even cheaper to go to Whole Foods or Natural Grocers or the Coop. And you have to do self checkout now.

you go to sprouts for meat and produce things not packaged foods. I spend around 145 a week for myself and I cook all my meals

It is a farmers market. The veggies and fruit prices are great. Shampoo vitamins. Etc are very good brands you can't find just anywhere.

I’d normally shop at sprout for organic produce and nuts/seeds and, when I ate meat/fish/poultry, I purchased from Whole Food or Trader Joe’s.
My experience in 2024, is Sprouts prices skyrocketed. They come out more expensive than WF…with the exception of their kale. In fact, they just increased their price in the last 2 days. 12.95 for a lb of regular cherries!? But….JP Morgan purchased a lot of stock in the company about a year ago….
I’ve decided to heavily reduce my reliance on grocery store chains in favor of an indoor garden, co-ops, farmers markets, and mom and pop grocery stores.
It’s complete greed driving the prices up.

I’m surprised sprouts is still in business. I keep waiting for the one by my house to go out. I only go for their meal prep foods when they are buy one get one 50% off. Iv found the meats are cheaper and better at Stater Bros or Ralph’s

Rite Aid vitamins are 2 for better price! I dont buy scoop foods. Ive seen people use their hands!I just paid $10 for a shamrock plant at was a big one though. A Sprouts is being built here just next to Sun City!

And if it says BOGO and you only get one you pay full price! The only other place I know of that does this is CVS.

The Sprouts stores in Southern California are outrageously overpriced on most items. Even more expensive than whole foods. I used to shop at Sprouts regularly always filling up my cart. Now I just leave with a few items that I think are fairly priced or on sale. I do most of my shopping at other, more affordable stores. I don't respect stores that price gouge their customers and refuse to just accept it and play along. Consumers, please wake up and stop giving so much of your money to these markets. The only thing that will force them to decrease their prices is a loss of business.

If you fed your family more fruit, veg and beans, they would not need vitamins to help poop. You need fiber.

This place is supposed to compete with Whole Foods so to compare to a regular Trader Joe’s or a Ralph’s isn’t a fair acessment . But continue 😂
