A follow-up to my first pre-code Ginger Rogers video, this time featuring more clips from her films of the period. The recording is her rendition of "I've Got To Sing A Torch Song", which was featured in the original verison of "Gold Diggers Of 1933" but was cut before the film was released.

This is SO good! My sincerest thanks for posting this historic tune sung by Ginger that was supposed to be from, "The Gold Diggers of 1933"...it is just, just beautiful.💖

Joel McCrea remembered Ginger came to see him on the set:
"I was crazy about Frances (Dee) and everybody knew we were going to be married. And Ginger and Lew (Ayers) were just bound to be married too. Ginger came and sat on my lap and ran her fingers through my hair and asked me if she should marry Lew. She was the kind of girl that would go with you tomorrow to Europe if she liked you."
