Exactly. Paul didn't even get the chance to speak and in Acts 21 Paul was charged for apostasy. And when we read his letters, Paul is to be blamed of it. He clearly spoke against the law as ended for everone, whether Jew or not.

Interesting. Because in the Protestant reformation Martin Luther took Paul's side on faith alone and removed the book of James from his cannon. Calling it a 'straw epistle'

I don't see anywhere that Paul went to the temple to consecrate a NEW NAZARITE LAW, but that he fulfilled his OWN DAYS of Purification & also had his own head shorn.

I think you have twisted this argument to suggest that Paul was FORCED by James to take a vow...no...on the contrary, he had already taken the vow previously & needed to fulfill the appropriate days of purification & have his head shorn as well as the 4 other men with him...This James asked him to do to PROVE that he WASN'T teaching other Jews to not be circumcised or eat food sacrificed to idols & he was UPHOLDING the Jewish law...but Paul LIED, and the people recognized him and tried to have him killed.

On the contrary, James was in charge of the Jerusalem congregation & was an integral part of coordinating with the other Apostles & he was very wise in how he evaluated whether or not Paul was being truthful or lying...and we all know that the s*** hit the fan and it all fell in on Paul...had he not have been doing what he had been accused of doing, then he wouldn't have been in the mess he fell into...because now, he's no longer a free man & needed to stand trial...
