It amazes me how the writers never let the Super Hero kill the Villains or henchmen when they’ve literally murder innocent people over and over again lol. One can say the Hero is to blame because they won’t kill the villain when it mattered the most. 🤔

I may be crazy, but I vaguely remember a story made after this, that revealed she was already dead. Goblin had already killed her and threw her off, knowing Spider-Man would attempt to use his webs to save her, causing her neck to snap. He did it to ruin Spider-Man even more by making him think he killed her.

I'll never get over this. I think they only reason this happened is because in a comic the creator doesn't account for feelings of the readers. He can't feel the true toll of what he's deciding in the story line. This is why they regretted having done it once afterwards cause they finally understood how powerful and impactful and tearing this way for people. Before the backlash they just thought: hey, it's just a character, let's kill her for storyline fun.

It’s true for a long time they did not bring Gwen Stacy back as a rule they wouldn’t do that because it was so central to Peter parker’s story and Spider-Man’s for a long time the rule was Gwen Stacy must stay dead So did Bucky Barnes which was so unusual for A comic book to do they actually made a thing out of it and called it Buckys rule that Bucky Barnes must stay dead which was a rule they held to for decades then they rebooted Captain America with a new writer about 20 years ago Just because it was a storyline that had never been experimented with they brought Bucky back They brought him back as the winter soldier which was such a really good story they worked it into the movie version of Captain America if you walk into any comic book store are likely to find a book that contains all of the comics of that series. As a complete book Highly recommended you’re also Likely to find The complete works of Frank Miller’s daredevil which will help you appreciate the Netflix daredevil series which marvel recently acquired and restarted usually on the same shelf you’ll find the dark Phoenix saga drawn by John Bryan. I hate that we didnt get this in live action, but mosy for Spider-gwen, if the mcu gonna be inaccurate, might as well bring in a fun spider like gwen who can be there toms spider or miles, would've been nice

This story is kind of the reason why I never liked spider-gwen after Peter loses when he feels so hurt only forgot to be retconned and then suddenly a girl who was just like Gwen shows up but she's a Spider-Girl now the Peter and that Universe dies after becoming the lizard and spider Gwen starts dating miles yeah no I'm done with that that was awful I don't have a legitimate reason to hate that character but no I just don't like character at all
