Gwen was more than just the love interest. She always assisted Peter whenever she could in whatever way possible. Be it his webshooters or with doctor Connors. They were a team(Peter and Gwen).Unlike the generic love interest in modern Spiderman movies. Man, I miss the dynamic ..

The fact that he kept trying to catch her but just as he would she’d fall out of reach again, until he finally managed to catch up to her, but by then it was too late. This is still the most emotional marvel death, even Tony’s couldn’t top it
