Buying a used Surface Duo 2 from eBay

picked up this steal. Surface Duo 2 unlocked on eBay for 265.00. just a little scratched up but nothing a skin can't fix.

I got me a first gen duo not long ago from ebay. Was sold as being defective on one screen. Figured I'd get one of those clip on cases put it on and just use it as a single screen device. I get it and notice it's got an app installed that makes it a one screen device. I disable to the app and it works fine. Tossed a neat skin on it and been super happy. And the 12L update made it a bit snappier. Pretty jazzed truth be told.

I have a question if I buy the surface duo 2 off from ebay and the seller said i have to find a way to bypass the Google account lock if I try to do it and it works. I'm good to go right the only thing I need to do would have to do a factory reset and erase the other person's data !
Because I really want the device !!
